Hello! So as you may have seen, about two days ago i uploaded a collage of different clothes i made on a app called Polyvore (its a great app, you should get it if you haven't already!) and my aim is to try and get all those clothes, which i know won't happen, but ill still try! The first thing i got from my wish list is a Biker jacket from Topshop. My friend Chloe got this jacket and i absolutely fell in love with it, in fact, i still haven't asked her if it was ok to get it too.......
So anyway, i looked at it on the website and i read the reviews which all said very positive things about the quality etc, and all of them said that it looks great with everything - i have a very plain, mostly black wardrobe so i like to get things that go with black clothes - and so it seemed perfect. The jacket is £60 and you can get it here. I ordered the jacket on sunday night and it came just today, which i thought was very fast considering i didn't even have to pay for delivery!
Heres a picture;
Worn with -
Top: Urban outfitters, £20
Leggings: Jack Wills, £24.50
So as you can see the colour is really versatile and lightens up this plain outfit! The material is like a soft chiffon feel and it hangs slightly heavy on the shoulders which gives the jacket a much more loose fit, making it look much more expensive than it is. The zips are a dark silver colour and they make the jacket look great zipped up for a more formal look and zipped down for a more casual look.
The jacket will be a great investment piece, i will be able to wear it with dresses, shorts, jeans, leggings, disco pants; and i can dress it up and down as i like. This is defiantly going to help me add a bit of luxury to plain, old clothes this summer and i can't wait to wear it out.
Thanks for reading, talk soon!

Beauty - Chanel Haul & Review
Chanel Haul and Review.
Hello Lovelies!
Before i start ranting on about the first of many products i will be talking about on my blog i just want to reassure you this is my first EVER blog post and i hope to improve, so I'm so sorry if its not great and feel free to comment anything i should of included!
So, hello again! Last weekend i decided to treat myself to rather unneeded purchases, i went into York and had a snoop round the gorgeous Chanel counter in Browns (Chanel is also sold in Fenwicks but i prefer browns as i have a loyalty card!) ANYWAY..so i needed a new primer, i ran out of my Estèe Lauder Colour Correcting Primer&Foundation Base a few days before, and i just HATE wearing foundation without a primer and/or a base. I loved the fact that with the Estèe Lauder one, it was 2 in 1, though.
I had read so many raving reviews about the 'Blanc De Chanel' base, and so i was so desperate to try it, and when i tried it on by a lovely assistant, it was love at first sight. It smells so beautiful and makes your skin feel so soft and clean, and i was getting more than i hoped for as it is like a moisturiser, primer and base in one, so i wasn't missing out! The bottle its self comes in a sophisticated white clouded glass bottle, although i would find it a bit difficult to travel with as i wouldn't want the bottle to smash! The simple yet stunning Chanel design and lid makes my makeup kit look so elegant. I found the fact it did not come with a pump a tiny bit annoying, but instead it comes with a small spatular engraved with the Chanel design, and after a while i liked that i could choose how much of the product i would like to use. The product itself is in liquid form, white, thin and super smooth - it is just perfect, and it makes my makeup stay on all day long, you can also wear this alone if you don't want to do a full face of makeup and it evens up your skin tone and refreshes your face.
So after i fell in love with my first purchase i realised i can't go back into town with just a base on- it was a saturday....scary hipsters?! Ok so, i asked the assistant to try a foundation, with no idea at all i would end up buying it....-_-. Before this I used Mac Pro Long Wear, although it is a great foundation and i will write a review on it ASAP, it just did not suit my skin, as my T zone is very dry. I needed something more smooth and hydrating. I told this to the assistant and she bought out the Vitalumière foundation out, and again...i fell in love (it is a bad and expensive obsession) and when she tried it on, i just HAD to get it. The foundation itself is not a full foundation as i don't think they are suitable for young skin, but it is a creamy, smooth liquid that glides on effortlessly, especially with the base underneath. You can build up the layers you want for your coverage and it new looks or feels caked but always light and gentle. The colour i got is gorgeous and it adds slight warmth to my skin without looking orange and fake. The smell and packaging is also fabulous.
I bought those two things and they came to *sigh* £70, BUT i hardly need to use any and so i hope they last a very long time! The assistant also threw in 2 free samples of eye gel which was very nice, but not a necessity.
She finished off my look with a clear powder to set, blusher and some lipstick, and it all felt so nice, not heavy, and i felt as if my skin could actually feel the air for once! The products came in a gorgeous white Chanel bag. A good days shopping, don't you think?!
Heres a picture of my new favourite additions to my ever-growing addiction.
PS. feel free to comment any questions about this post or anything you want me to write about! Im aiming to write 2-3 posts a week so i need inspiration! Thanks, talk soon :)
